I really enjoyed this read. It was my first outright monster romance and I had a good time. My Nigerian heart loved that this was set in Nigeria and it was great to know and have been to some of the places mentioned. The romance is very steamy, starting with the human fmc who is assaulted and needs the mmc(a demon) help. I thought that not only was it steamy but the story also had some depth despite not being that long. Overall a cute and diverse read and palette cleanser.
Well this was something else.

This was not the demon romance I was expecting. Joy was clawing back at the man who violated her by summoning a demon. Malachi the demon is seriously a cinnamon roll. They play off each other so well, and their relationship quickly turns from transactional to something more. This was short and sweet, with a kick, and I loved these two so very much.
