If you enjoy the CSI series, you'll love Temperance Brennan. Do NOT mistake this book series with the the TV series, Bones. The only thing the two have in common is Temperance Brennan's name and forensic anthropology.

Tempe's character, family life, and living situation is radically different from the telly and I think she's more interesting as she's written. Fascinating mystery tale involving close association with radically dead bodies and a sexy policeman.

I really enjoyed this one. I would say it was even better than the first book. The characters are starting to be a little bit more developed, the personalities are starting to come out and make sense. Still some reused sentences over and over again but for the most part good. I enjoyed this book enough to continue on with the series. :) Onto the next.

I could not get through book 1 of this series, so decided to try book 2. Kept my interest all the way through. Not sure why it was better, thinking maybe more relationship story.
