I loved this story so much!! It made me laugh, swoon, squeal, flail (be grateful you weren’t there to see me acting insane 😂). I teared up more than once from how absolutely sweet it is. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to drop everything and read. I can’t stop thinking about it. 🩷

My favorite thing about this is its portrayal of two families melding together. Paxton and Baxter are incredible fathers, and as their romance grows so does their love for each other’s kids. There’s just so much love going around. It was beautifully done.

Here are some of the many delightful tropes in this book:

- grumpy x sunshine
- hurt/comfort
-enemies to friends to lovers
-slow(ish) burn
-FLUFF
-high heat 🌶️
-dad jokes galore
-anxiety rep
-a growly lumberjack
-pet names
-hot cocoa as a love language

Have I convinced you yet? Go read this book!
