This was very much a transition between arcs. However this was packed full of information. I really loved the information given. There were some characters we haven't seen in a hot minute that were nice to see again in this volume. I loved the cliffhanger ending and I want more, I am afraid we may not get more with this side character, but we will see.

“Listen, all of you. This guy may be an idiot… but he’s still the captain. We’re better off without a crew mate who can’t respect the captain when the going gets tough. A crew that doesn’t respect their captain and a captain who doesn’t deserve that respect is destined to fail!”
OMG, you guys! I just dived into One Piece, Volume 45: You Have My Sympathies, and I’m officially OBSESSED! This volume is everything—heartwarming, hilarious, and packed with those classic One Piece feels that we all live for!
The Straw Hats are stuck in Water Seven without a ship (cue the drama!), but the islanders totally come through for them. Watching everyone come together to help build the crew a new ship just made my heart burst with happiness. The love these characters share is EVERYTHING.
And then—plot twist—a super powerful Navy officer shows up, and at first, I was on the edge of my seat like, “Oh no, what’s gonna happen?!” But then it turns into this hilariously comical situation, and I couldn’t stop laughing. Luffy just knows how to make even the tensest moments lighthearted and fun!
Also, can we talk about the new crew member?! The way the Straw Hats tricked them into joining was pure genius and had me cracking up. And that emotional reunion with another crew member? I was literally tearing up. The bonds between these characters are so strong, and I just love seeing them grow closer with every volume.
I seriously can’t wait to see where the Straw Hats go next! One Piece just keeps getting better and better!

What have I just read?
Why is the solution to getting Frankie on the ship with the strawhats to... steal his speedos, so he can run Winnie the Poh style through a whole city? Also does Robin have feeling in the limbs she creates away from her body? Because if that's the case then her just full on grapping and squeezing Frankies junk is just so much worse.
On the less bizarre side of things that happened in this volume; I'm happy that Usopp apologised and came back to the crew.
