tbh there is some truth in that sometimes happiness isnt enough, not when u can be normal
the intertextuality was so natural & beautiful, it made me fall in love w english lit again :)

Jeanette Winterson is my favorite author, and here it is deeply moving to hear her tell her story with a voice that is both honest and well honed with her craft. She had a truly challenging upbringing as a lesbian daughter of a Pentecostal family but she found a home in words that brought her to be beloved both personally and professionally for her artistry.
