The one where Jon Ronson breaks into the Bohemian Grove with a young(er) Alex Jones, and tragically for history and humanity, doesn't let him accidentally fall into a ditch or impale himself on a historic redwood or anything.

But seriously, this book was prescient in numerous deeply frightening ways. Ronson is insightful and incredibly brave (in a very nervous nebbishy manner).

Everyone should read this book.

My rating may change, I haven't yet figured out how I'm rating non fiction.

I love Jon Robson's writing style - it's simple reflection and quite uniquely him. It makes it easy to read more depressing topics fast, and his sense of humour is consistent. This book does not have life changing reflections on the psychology of extremism; I'm not sure this is its intent either. Instead, it's a fun little rabbit hole to fall down with a few unsolved mysteries along the way. Honestly just enjoyable to read which can be my issue with a lot of non fiction.
