Another book in this series that I really enjoyed. I really like these characters, even though they do some stupid things. ~Read it!

3.75?
Idk y’all, this one was painfully long and for no reason? I didn’t feel as connected to the characters/story here. I guess some important stuff happened but I didn’t really have any feelings about it but then also not much happened. Ya know?
And this one felt like it should have been the last book. I really have no idea where this is going to go for 2 more installments. I’ve loved every one up until this point and the ending here got me just excited enough for the next.
Basically, I pulled through for my man Hudson and I will prevail for my man Hudson. I love him so much.
The romance was also quite lacking in this one

A lot happened in this book it felt like a fever dream. On par with the other books but just longer and more unnecessarily detailed. Grace your brain thinks too much lol.
I can’t remember all I wanted to say in this review but I do wanna say poor Jaxson, the author really just taking everything from him and killing off his found family/ friends DAMN; at least the Flint and Jaxson thing is happening. Not that I want anyone really important to die, but I don’t love when an author kills off characters that aren’t very important cause it lacks the hit a well loved character dying would deliver. I loved the trials, that was super fun. Also loved that Hudson and Grace had a bit of a struggle; nice to see their relationship isn’t perfect cause imo that’s not very fitting of them.
Don’t know where the next book is going but hopefully it’s good!
