I support women’s rights, but I also support women’s wrongs ✋🏻 I really enjoyed this audiobook. I got hooked in pretty quick, and gasped out loud a few times at the plot twists. It was entertaining and well-performed.

Wow. It was so good I have no word’s anymore. I talked about it way too much that I don’t even know what to say.

Ew trigger warnings seriously needed

Not sure how I feel about the use of present tense

I’m not sure I like any of the male characters. I liked Hannah a lot and the sisters a bit.

I liked having lots of different perspectives and timings, which I don’t usually enjoy. It kept a nice rhythm and pace.

I liked the relationship between Hannah and Olivia

I like the mystery of who dies

I have so many questions and that pushed me forward throughout the book

I properly celebrated when Will died!!!

The fact that Will was also Hannah’s sister’s bf felt like it pushed me out of how realistic it was. It was too much. I don’t feel an ounce of pity for Will in spite of his father

I was kind of disappointed by the ending. After so much effort went into demonstrating that Will was the most vile horrible person who carries the guilt of so many lives ruined, being quietly and quickly stabbed didn’t feel like justice. I wish the truth had gotten out. I wish they all had their moment to confront him. I don’t like the lack of closure on the trial for Jono - I know he deserved to be sentenced for the manslaughter of the young boy, but I just have to imagine that all the truth came out in the trial and true justice was served after Will’s death. I wish that had played out in the book though.

I LOOOVED this book. Absolutely devoured it! So mysterious and keeps you guessing the whole time. I had to cover the bottom of the page so I wouldn’t spoil it for myself.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. The setting was interesting, characters had some relative depth, and the plot left me guessing quite a bit. I loved the plot twists with the history of each character. A few surprised me! However a felt like not every character needed a connection to one of the main characters. I also felt like the ending was pretty rushed, but I feel like that with most endings in my thrillers. Overall, this was a quick and mysterious read!

Extremely disappointed in this one. Most of the book is lead up before the actual thrill and mystery even happens. The ending twists were great! But sadly, didn’t make up for the rest of the blandness.

I went into this expecting that the suspense would happen earlier in the book and then almost like the game Clue we’d have to figure it all out. It was nothing like that which is a real bummer. Not until the last 50ish pages do you even begin to question what will happen next.

Spoilers ahead:
I did love how all the characters were connected to Will somehow. The twists about Olivia and Alice were great, did not expect those at all.

I loved Hannah the most, I found myself more intrigued with her chapters. Olivia was also interesting and a good read. Johnno’s chapters made me wanna go to sleep, I hated getting through those chapters. Jules and Aoife were unmemorable.

It was just waaay too much build up, I feel like we didn’t even learn much about the mystery of these characters until the late 100 pages??

The reveal of Hannah’s sisters video leak being from Will was lackluster. Like of course she happens to dance with some random guy who gives out this information. It happened so fast then the book ended, we couldn’t even sit with it.

I also disliked how it switched from the day before, wedding day. The day before again and again…just when we get some suspense from the wedding day, it cuts right back to the beginning and I was left bored again.
