Incredible book. Not only an account of the current record speed run on the Colorado through the Grand Canyon, but a love letter to the canyon itself, an analysis of the amazing science behind dams, the people who support each, a thrilling sports story for the history books, and an introduction to all the people who make all of it possible. Excellent read.
