this was a fun Prime Reading find and solidified my status as a Greer Hendricks fan -- between a 4 & a 5 on this one, a mildly predictable end result but with enough red herrings to keep you guessing, enjoyable plot, pacing and characters (@ Goodreads pls implement 1/2 stars)
3/5 Stars…so underwhelming especially having read all the Goodread reviews and Instagram hype around this book. Maybe since I’ve read so many good thrillers/mysteries lately I expected more? Honestly kind of a let down.

I received this months ago from my friend Kim S. in DC. It takes place in DC, is a good suspense/mystery, and it's fun to picture the story here. Mim, I'll pass it to you when I finish!
I read this a while ago. I forgot, re-borrowed from the library I actually got a couple of chapters into it again before I remembered I had read it.
