My new favorite!

This is probably my newest favorite thrillers. It has a very true-crimey feel and definitely kept me on my toes. Every time I thought I had a prediction it never fit in with all the interlocking pieces of the story. I liked that I couldn’t figure out how it was going to end.

This was a complete random find on my audiobook app and it was pretty great. I would have never guessed who the bad guy was, but it sure did keep me trying. It was a thriller but I wasn't scared. Which is ok sometimes.

Played out a bit like a Criminal Minds episode but was more a character study of the psychiatrist while the crime was solved “off camera.” Still interesting and twisty. I have a few unanswered questions but did enjoy the story. A fast paced read that would be great to end a reading slump.

3.5 ⭐️ rounded up!

Truly not bad - it was super interesting to start before starting to drag a little bit. The ending really saved the book, although I feel stupid for not having figured it out. However, there were little plot twists that I feel like would’ve surprised me even if I had figured out the main one. I think this book is well done in the sense that it portrays the main character’s inner dialogue and internal conflict in a very believable way - I think that I would find myself thinking her same thoughts at most points. Overall, not the best or worst thriller I’ve read, just pretty good!
