I was so engaged from the beginning to the end - and want to explore these sister authors of the regency now.  But the errors that could have been resolved with careful (or at least not negligent) editing were annoying enough that I will be waiting for the next reprint (hopefully reviewed) to buy my own copy.  Who leaves a blurb on the back of a novel that calls the author "Romney Romney" instead of Rebecca Romney?

Well researched study of the women writers who influenced Jane Austen. I had always dismissed these earlier writers, but Romney makes a convincing case that they were much better than academics give them credit for.
