⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I am maddeningly obsessed with this book, nay, this duology!!! I long to return to the pages of this book, like a call for the sea through the words. I absolutely loved this heart-wrenching story of loss, love and fight to survive. Alosa has my heart as does the sea! Long live the Pirate Queen

This was so addicting that I actually read it in one sitting. I desperately want more of Alosa and Riden, I loved them!!!!! I’m pleased with the way it ended, would 100% recommend if you love pirate stuff.

I love duologies. I don’t think I have ever mentioned that. I love the feeling that a story be done and not be dragged on. *cough* Red Queen Series *cough* having only two books in a series is just one long story split in two. I loved getting back into the Pirates of the Caribbean vibes and the crew. There were some parts in the book that I felt could have been faster, I feel the chapters were long as well as the ending seeming very upfront and short.

I enjoyed being back in the pirate world and learning more about the sirens and the Siren Queen, but I found myself waiting for the parts with Alosa and Riden. I'm a romance girlie and this sequel to Daughter of the Pirate King had less romance. I just wanted more Riden.
