I really enjoyed the story and loved the meanings of the Flowers at each chapter. Although at times it was a very difficult, sad and heavy read.
Reading it I was willing Alices story not to become about history repeating itself. I wish there had been more time given to the Flowers, I really enjoyed the earlier section of the book.
The ending felt very rushed and I would have preferred more time given to seeing what happened with Alice after so much heartache throughout.

A lot of the plot points in the book are very heavy with cruel fate to multiple characters, so as much as I enjoyed reading the book I felt overall it weighs a bit heavily.

I don't know if it's just me, but everytime any of these women failed to see the red flags of the men they dated, I wanted to scream. There were some interesting parts of the story - I absolutely loved the Thornfield women and how they supported each other, and I liked how flowers were incorporated in every part of the story, but those last 50 pages when Dylan showed up were so. irritating. ugh. Also, I didn't really like Alice as the main character, there was just something...too much...about her, can't really pinpoint what it is but alas..this book didn't wow me.
