I was forced against my will to read this book (for English class).
In the begining I hated this book. It was sooo boring. But as I kept reading it, I began to appreciate it more. I can definitely see why we're studying it in class, there are great themes and loads of symbolism and good language used. Reading it in class has also helped me like it more. I'm not looking forward to having to write essays and take exams on it, tho.
If I wasn't forced to read it I wouldn't have made it past chapter three tbh.
