Not the most exciting book but I did enjoy the story. Plus, doing this for my exams meant I researched it and the symbolism and foreshadowing was definitely interesting and made the story click a bit more, making it engaging. I never expected the ending of it but it was a nice end to tension that had been building up throughout the book

Not my cup of tea. Found it quite elongated, struggled to finish it. Personally I felt it was merely trying to show certain societal issues but while doing so fails to recognise the harm in the portrayal of it.
