It was a fun read, although I am a bit tired of the constant cliche of Middle Eastern terrorist who has no depth beyond the desire to destroy Christianity. The little cameo mention of another writer's character made me chuckle.

A shadow of the first book. The best parts are repeats of the Last Templar. Much of the rest is rehashed or stolen from the DaVinci Code and all of its imitators and riddled with just as much of the gross historical inaccuracy as plague all of those books. It had a few really fun moments, which got me through it, but that's about the best I can say for it. No where near as fun as Last Templar.

Well written, historical, exciting, hard to put down! I so enjoyed how he revealed the connection from past to present - a great pace. I look forward to reading more from Mr. Khoury!

I thought I had written my review but guess not. I couldn't put the book down. I finished it 3 weeks ago and was on the edge of my seat. Extremely well written
Can't wait to pick up the next one by him.

Sometimes a bit to descriptive, but definitely action packed.

While I think Mr. Khoury is trying (or was trying) to ride the coattails of Dan Brown, I really enjoyed this book (as well as his previous book). Tess and Reilly make a great team and the subject matter is very intriguing. Some parts of the book seem awfully far-fetched, but that also adds to its intrigue. I don't know much about the Knights Templar and have learned a lot - Mr. Khoury certainly did his research writing these! I also don't believe that it was too verbose, I think the length was justified by the content and subject matter.

Read the first book a while ago, so didn't remember where the story had left off. Still an interesting read that kept moving along. I very much enjoyed it - will keep my eyes out for the next round.
