This book is as excellent as everyone said it was. The time travel element is perfectly written. The cultural references to the 90s are absolutely spot-on. For me, the best part of this book is that it's a beautiful story of father-daughter love. I didn't want it to end.
Read this if you enjoy magical realism via time travel, New York City, and nostalgia. There’s a unique focus on the child-parent relationship. I paced myself to make the most of the book, which is unlike books I’ve read before. Also, I appreciate Emma Straub’s vocabulary!
Really beautiful picture of a father daughter relationship. Cried a lot.
I’m a sucker for a time traveler book with an endearing female main character. Very sweet.
Loved the twists and how the relationships were portrayed. Cried a lot.

Grāmatām par ceļošanu laikā vienmēr ir vieta manā sirdī. Te vēl tās meitas- tēva attiecības, kas man arī “soft spot”. Bet nu sirsnīgi!
