I didn’t find this book to be particularly emotional for some reason, but I could see how it really could be. I like the way it explores the themes of grief and love and growing up. Definitely a really unique book!!

I flew through this book, it was just great. It is time travel which is my absolute FAVORITE trope so that is probably part of it- haha. It is a story of love and loss and regret and second chances. It is a story of realizing your worth, your actual needs, and the importance of your relationships. It is a story that is heartwarming, heartbreaking, and laugh out loud funny. Great characters and great lessons. As my daughter would say: It's a banger. Read it.

Loved this concept of time travel and how it helped Alice and her father cope with death. Loved the nostalgia of the 80s - especially the Sarah Michelle gellar reference.

Im not too sure how I actually feel about Alice. I could relate with how lost she felt at her age but with the time jumping, it made it seem like she was just going through the motions of whatever she came back to. But I guess the only constant thing was her love for her dad.

I also want to note that this was the most heartfelt author’s note I’ve ever read and that was where I cried.

I was into the "chill" nature of the time travel and the father/daughter relationship. Everything else was pretty bland?

Not my favorite. Skipped over many pages trying to figure out what the point of the story was.

Loan time ran out, but since I only got an hour in I don't know if I will go back to it.
