Fine Emma I cried. Are you happy!? This book hit me right in the feels, all of them, every single one. Alternate realities usually mess me up in the best kind of ways and this novel really did a number on me in the most beautiful of ways. Here I am at work, trying to pull myself together. This story was all the things I needed from it. Thank you Emma for this story and the meaning behind it. Now to binge read all the others before it.

The story is so slow paced, it took 100 pages to even reach the part where this 40 years old women finally time travel back to her 16th bday

I love the premise of the story, heck I even really enjoyed the first 200 pages. But it just decline badly after that. It got repetitive and started to bore the fuck out of me

I enjoyed this novel about time travel that seeks to answer the age old question: what would you change if you could go back and do things differently? The book is not just an ode to pop culture of the 1990s and New York City, it explores a beautiful but flawed relationship between a father and daughter. Suspend your beliefs and read this one, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

An interesting take on the time-travel/Groundhog Day trope. I liked that mostly it was about her relationship with her dad, rather than a romantic re-do.

I loved this so much. I can’t stop thinking about it! Excellent, beautiful story that made me want to immediately book flights to go see everyone I love.

Celebrating her 40th birthday and wondering where the time has gone, Alice suddenly finds herself back in her 16-year-old body. The elements of this time travel book have been used in other fiction multiple times, however I would still highly recommend this read. Straub does a good job pointing out things that many time travel books overlook and make it more about the relationship between Alice and her father. It is a feel-good book that wrapped up the year perfectly and I was glad that I read it.
