Short and spooky

A short and spooky story-perfect for getting into Halloween season. I picked this up because I wanted to get into my spooky season vibes and it definitely delivered.

I actually really enjoyed this read!

I enjoyed their banter; flirtatious or not. I felt their chemistry slowly building even in the short read. Loved the "forbidden romance" part of it since he's boss and she's assistant. I suppose I enjoyed their romance more than I'd like to admit.

Obviously as the story progressed and the plot unfolded, it was f*cked. Lol! But like in the best way. Very unsettling and disturbing turn of events, but so good and I don't know what that says about me.

The ending made me sob though. Her hero <3.

Paranormal elements, necrophilia, and murder.
