If you're obsessed with sexy dragon riders and the high stakes of Fourth Wing and Iron Flame, you should try Bound by Dragons and the upcoming second book, Kingdom of Spirits by Alisha Klapheke. A new adult romantasy, fantasy adventure with dragon riders.

Talia and Marius are ready to take you on a dragon adventure in the skies above the Shrouded Mountains. If you have also read The Fae Kings Assassin or The Unseelie Kings Rebel, you'll be excited to know that Bound by Dragons is written in the same world and has crossover places and characters.

Marius is the ultimate rule follower. He believes in order and discipline and demands it from his fragon riders. But when Talia crashes into his life, he finds out that rules aren't all they are cracked up to be.

Although Talias' life has tried to keep her down, she is fiercly determined to see the best in things and grab life by the reigns and fly. She will rish a death sentence in the first book to go after her dreams of being a dragon rider.

Also, side note on the amazing best friend Fara, a character we all wish we had in real life!

Bound by Dragons was lighthearted and a beautifully written fantasy escape.

I mean it was a very rushed book, there were some things happening and its was just super quick and with 0 depth and the characters were very plain

Very early DNF. This book is poorly written, with poor characterisation, and extremely annoying characters.

Brilliant book. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer. It should be a full book and series. Will definitely be reading book two.

This is a fast paced novella that I enjoyed. I added it to my kindle library when the author suggested it might be a good read if you loved Fourth Wing. It definitely has dragon writing and a bit of romance, so it definitely checks the box. I especially enjoyed the relationship between Tahlia and her friend-turned-squire Fara. There’s just something fantastic about women supporting each other.

There were a couple leaps in thought that had me scratching my head a little, but nothing that stopped me from turning the pages.

I enjoyed the direction the story moved in, and I definitely want to know what happens next!
