My poor little heart can’t take it...

So I read Cross in TPA and loved it then and guess what? Feeling is still the same. Cross and Kallie are the pair everyone roots for. Cross, the former, but not so much, bad boy who stole Miss Kallie’s heart fights to get his girl. We all want them to get their HEA! The story may be short, but it’s heartfelt and such a sweet interlinking inside the Gibson world.

Now that short story of Blaire...grr! She needs a book because I’m loving her and Holt and can’t deal with them not seeing things through. Then Kip and Nora, gah! I can’t take it.

Good reads as always. Looking forward to Mach’s book and hopefully the continuation of the two shorts.

Adriana you’ve got work to do. 💕

Cross is book 2.5 in The Gibson Boys series. This book is told from dual points of view by Cross Jacobs and Kallie Welch.

Cross and Kallie were friends growing up, and started to have feelings for each other. Cross was a party boy, and Kallie wasn't sure if he would grow up. So she ended up leaving.

Something happened in her recent relationship and she returned back home. When she runs into Cross they both start to have feelings for each other again.

Can Cross prove to Kallie he's past his partying ways? Can Kallie learn to trust in Cross? Can Kallie survive a relationship living in a small town where gossip spreads like crazy? Will Cross and Kallie get their happy ever after?

I loved this second chance romance. Callie comes back to town, and Cross is determined to have her. They do have obstacles because she’s not sure she can trust him, but he proves it to her. I love these Gibson boys!

Cross is the story of Cross and Kallie and it is also the prequel to the Gibson Boys books. While the books are connected, you do not have to read them in order to understand what is happening (although you are really going to want to!!)

This was a short, quick novella with a lot of heart. Cross and Kallie were together when they were younger however, Kallie decided to leave due to the way Cross’ life was headed. Neither of them truly got over each other, and it was just an overall sweet second chance romance!

Adriana Locke’s Cross is a second chance romance between Cross, we meet him in the 1st Gibson boys book, and Kallie. I loved this little novella I could read a full story with these two. Hopefully they will turn up in more Gibson books

A second chance ⭐⭐⭐💫 3.5 stars romance story for Cross! A quick and sweet addition in the the series.

The chemistry between Cross and Kallie was a connection that felt sooo right in so many ways. They shared a long standing history that no matter how much time as past you never forget the random things growing up and the one that made your heart pitter patter.

Although I enjoyed the determination that Cross presented himself as well as knowing this was a novella; we only got a snapshot of what had happened in their past. I would most likely felt more feels if we had like a little bit more insight of their background history.

I enjoy this group of friends and family and looking forward to seeing what else they can get into. I also like that mini snippets that we get from the other characters in the books.
