DID NOT FINISH: 47%

Loved Briggs in the beginning but couldn’t connect to the story overall

This improves with each book. While I enjoyed Briggs and the chaos in his life in ReedHoland's book, I was surprised to see a different side of Briggs in this book.

Briggs is such a wonderful person, and all he ever wanted was a loving family. While he regretted some of his actions in the face of heartbreak and betrayal, he attempted to redeem himself. I felt his anguish as he revealed his vulnerable side and how the media had continued to portray him negatively even as he attempted to redeem himself.

Madison was a self-sufficient woman who was determined to finish her school while also working on her blog. When she realized that some of her actions had harmed Briggs and others, she felt guilty. Briggs and Maddison's moments with their daughter are so lovely.

I felt nostalgic seeing ReedHoland Emery, Liam Juliet, and the moments between boys? Those were a lot of fun and made me feel alive. I'd like to see Emery as Graham's love interest, but I'm sure I'd enjoy his book just as much as I did Briggs'.
