It took me way too long to read this considering it’s not a long book. I was bored. There was enough suspense to keep me reading because I kept thinking there would be more to the story, but there wasn’t.

I'm a little sad I listened to this as an audiobook. The audiobook is narrated by three different people to reflect the three different perspectives the story weaves together. Unfortunately, the "characters" those perspectives represent interact with the the same supporting characters, and each narrator presents those characters in a different way, with different tones and nuances, so the story ends up fracturing into dissimilar shards. Nothing ties the perspectives together except plot, but that feels flimsy here. I don't fault the narrators, though. They did a fine job. I just wish one of them had read the whole story. Anyway, the story was fine. I appreciated the near-future climate change perspective.

I was listening to the audiobook. At first I thought it was interesting having 3 different narrators. However, once characters started overlapping the chapters, and narrators, it became confusing and hard to track.

I liked the premise and story line. Might try again with a written copy.
