This was a very sweet cosy and cinnamon roll of a book.. the overall tone of the book is lighthearted but there are a few difficult topics discussed here as well. The art is beautiful of course and depicts this slice of life story perfectly

The cutest!!! Loved the characters and their relationship. Great plot, and I really appreciated the photography as its center.

Adorable manga. A cute little cozy heart warming winter story featuring the perfect grumpy x sunshine couple. I kinda thought it was adorable how they fell in love through photos basically. The pacing did feel a bit off at certain points for me. But all in all really good. And the art style was super classic and dreamy.

Synopsis

Haruki is driving home one day when he sees a car abandoned on the side of the road. As it is winter, he gets worried and goes to check on the person. He then meets Akihito, a wildlife photographer who is there on assignment. After finding that Akihito has nowhere to stay, Haruki offers a spot in his house. This is when their friendship begins.

My thoughts

This manga is so cute I cried. I cried so much. Haruki is so traumatized and just such a sad boy, but is still so selfless and then Akihito comes in and shows him there is so much more to this life and opens up his eyes for the first time in years. I love them so much and they both deserve each other and the entire world. And the art? STUNNING, absolutely stunning. I was so captivated by the art, that I would stay on the same page for minutes just admiring. So yeah, this manga was everything ❤️

My favorite quote

“You know … I love the world as you capture it Narumi. So no matter where you go, I’ll be rooting for you. But whenever you need to rest your wings … promise me you’ll come back here.”. ”Okay. It’s a promise.”

Happy reading 😊
