I’ll literally read anything we can get of Ria and Kova at this point. I loved reading snippets that were cut out from the series. My favorite scenes/snippets were from Dismount’s epilouge. Gosh, that epilouge is perfect and I could’ve read a full length novel with their epilouge to be honest.
And Kova’s interview? I loved how we really get to see Kova’s emotions and raw side! The way he told her (Lucia) about when he fell in love with Ria? With the prosti scene? Ahh, my heart! And him describing how much he loves her and how he never did let her go. It’s to much for me to handle at this point. I cried while reading it.

I can’t express how much I love this series and what a living hell it’s been for Lucia to get through with this series. So thank you for fighting for these characters to tell their stories!

What a great addition to this series! I loved getting deleted scences and further context into the writing and process behind creating Adrianna and Kova's story. Definitely read this when you're finished with the Off Balance Series!

"Every year we took out the leather-bound book on our anniversary and read some pages together. It was the only time we read them. We liked to remind ourselves where we came from and how hard we had to work to get where we were today. We did not take time for granted."

This companion novel healed me.

I’ve only ever said that about one other book and it was for a completely different reason and evoked completely different emotions in me.

This book, visiting with these characters, catching glimpses of the beauty and tragedy that was them. I missed them. They own a part of my heart and there is no way I will ever forget them. Not willingly.

Lucia is an incredible writer and a beautiful soul. I’m grateful she wrote this story, this series…especially because she paid a huge price for it (and I don’t mean a monetary price though I’m sure that also was a pretty penny). Within the words found in this books you can feel her heart.

There’s nothing greater you can ask of an author than to write with her heart.

There are quotes I wanted to share, and in a way I’m not ready to. I’m sure there will be other reviewers willing to do that, for now I want to hold those beautiful pieces close to my heart.

overall review:
‧₊˚i could NOT wait to read this, but also i waited to read this because it really did mark the end of this series for me. though, i could always reread- but nothing hits as much like a first read does. anyways, i loved this companion novel. i absolutely ADORED the extra notebook entries. but nothing hit me as hard as all the extra kova we got. the deleted scenes from dismount made my heartache- can i get that whole section tattooed on me? no, oh okay.  and the interview between lucia and kova? that was so cute and it had me dying. not enough people appreciate kova’s humor- he is so fucking funny. i love this series, and more importantly i love this author- i will read anything and everything she writes!

oh wow! This was like getting to say hello to old friends and hang out for a bit, however bittersweet that Kova & Ria's story is really over. Lucia, as always, did them justice! I loved this companion novel for so many reasons, but the layout was banging. The playlist will be on repeat, the deleted scenes gutted me, and hearing Kova's voice and thoughts undid me completely...but my favorite had to be the interview.
Then, there is Avery and Xavier's story. Avery was my girl throughout Off Balance. She was always the voice of reason and saying the things I was screaming at Ria. I love her outlook and how strong she seemed so getting to be apart of her world soon...I'm on pins and needles. (plus, from the little sneak peek, we will get a couple of glimpses into our fav couple ;) ).
