I like that so much time was spent on the victims and giving each of them a thorough backstory. What I didn't like as much was just how much minute detail it went into, it felt overwhelming at times and certain parts didn't feel relevant, almost as if the content was kept in because there was nothing else to say. This is an unsolved case so that aspect of the story is going to be unsatisfying but it seemed like the investigation took a backseat to the 'reality TV' nature of the details about friends and families of the victims. Unfortunately I found this book to be too all over the place as if it didn't have a clear direction. Clearly the author has put a lot of time and effort into interviews etc but the end result was quite messy.
