Liked it but didn’t love it! It was different from the other books in the series, which I appreciated but I didn’t fall in love with the characters like I did with the others
Ava felt foreign to me and I feel like in the other books because they were intertwined and based in the same time period, I was more invested in their character development and finding out more about them after getting glimpses into their lives in the previous books. I didn’t feel that way with Ava or Eli. It would’ve been nice to know about Ava’s psychosis before, especially because Cecily used to look after her because of it, and not because she was the reckless friend like the other books made us believe
I could take or leave this book tbh. However, it was still a good read and I’m happy they got their happily ever after
