Challenging themes, interesting characters, promising plot, great art work... I really want to read the next one!

The subject was intriguing, and the art well done. I didn't like this as much as I thought I would given the high praise it has received from the critics. Although I think this is mostly due to unrealistic expectations on my part. Expect this to be good, don't expect it to blow you away or you may be disappointed.
I look forward to continue reading as time goes on. There is a lot of unique things the writer could do with this story, and I anticipate it to only get better with each issue.

I've read a few of Kelley Sue's other comic issues and they didn't mesh for me. But I'm happy to say that I loved this one. I think it's a must-read - not to mention, it was awesome to see discussion questions in the back as well as citations for Kimberlé Crenshaw's "Demarginalizing the Intersection of Race and Sex". The art is fabulous and I'm excited to read more of the story.

Heavy-handed satire.

A deeply feminist comic about non-compliant women sent to a prison planet. Lots of nudity but not the sexualised stuff you normally get in comics.
