This was a cute read if you can suspend disbelief on the initial miscommunication. TBH, I'll accept it because Margo and Olivia were so young when they were best friends (and queer best friends!), and it's better than a second-chance romance where shit did go sour for intentional reasons. The scene with the... uh... interfered-with vibrator will live rent-free in my brain. But I really like how Alexandria Bellefleur writes sapphic love stories with real-sounding banter and eager emotion.

Super cute! I haven't read the other 2 books in the series, so this book can definitely be read as a standalone. Excited to check the other two out though!

Truly an incredibly entertaining book, and boy was it steamy. I loved the setup and that Margot and Olivia were getting a chance to figure out what could have been if massive miscommunication hadn't been at play in high school. I do love how this book ended, just had some second hand stress from the continued communication issues that persisted as things really started to hit off again between Margot and Olivia.

I think I may have read too many of her books too close together, as I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others. I think it was too focused on just the two MCs, and didn't have enough of other characters and things going on outside of the relationship to me. I also just got bored about 50% through. I did like the last 20% just that 30% was boring and I had trouble paying attention to it. It was spicy enough for once! LOL. I also wish she didn't always use the same narrator for all her books.

this one is cute and spicy. second chance romance and friends to lovers what more could you ask for? but the miscommunication trope pissed me off so much. i hate it in any kind of book. i think the first part is kind of hard to read because margot and olivia keeps you on guessing if will they or won't they. it also felt like they barely scratched their issues, together and on their own. it felt lacking in a sense that i feel like their problems aren't solved? idk

it was a good read and the third book that i've read from the author, but in the series i like written in the stars more, i guess.
