"Cooking is about food. Baking is about love." A brilliant insight into bake off and the history, combined with little tidbits about the whole behind the scenes.

A must read if you’re a fan of GBBO :-)

Book I read in print #4

It’s like reading a bunch of websites or a magazine.

Definitely wouldn’t buy it (and I own two Paul Hollywood books) unless you are such a hardcore fan you really want to. The cartoons of pictures is a weird choice I don’t like and the writing was so poorly organized it wasn’t fun to read.

I'm being a little generous because of how much I enjoy the show, but this book was written just as it was leaving the BBC and focuses on the earliest seasons, most of which have not been on the US on Netflix. So I didn't recognize a lot of the contestants featured. But still a fun look at the series.

This is one of my favorite shows, that I've been binging the last few weeks. I love this book and how it gives you a little more insight into the story behind the show and some of the contestants.

Just like the show, this isn't anything but fun. After binging all of GBBS during COVID, I just had to keep it going with this adorable book.

It's a nice rundown of the show, nothing too deep or shocking. It's just like the show.
