While there were some good ideas I learned from in this book, I can’t recommend it to most as it centered people from financially well-off backgrounds and struggles with having an addiction to designer handbags. This is not most people’s experience and thus not helpful or applicable.

Super helpful financial book! The author uses her own experiences plus stories and information from other females who have achieved huge financial success. She narrates the audiobook herself which is great to hear her personal stories told in her own voice.

This is a great starting point for women who want to start taking more control of their finances. Some of the advice can be found on other financial sites but it as a added bonus that the author looks like me and has achieved her financial goals. There are not many black women in the world of finance and its a breath of fresh air to see Bola Sokunbi making strides.
