3.5 stars... a good basic intro, but there’s an awful lot of the “Women be shopping!” kind of talk. Which gets irksome... since I’ve never had a problem spending thousands on designer handbags. But whatever.

I'm looking for a good book on investing for beginners. Keeping track of what I've read so I don't check out the same material over and over. Skimmed most of this book. Read the chapter on investing and realized I know more than I thought I did. There's nothing good or bad about this book; it just didn't have the information I need.
I blinked this book. Some good highlights in here, but also kind of common sense. I wish it would have gone more into The investing part.
