The 2 stars are for Ash. Mara was insufferable which is a shame because she’s the main character and narrator. She also literally stalked someone across Europe and comes back like “am I creepy?” Like yes. She calls everything “fate” but she’s really just picking and choosing her future. I also couldn’t understand why she was so mean to her family - and ultimately if Charlie (bff) hadn’t been in the book, it wouldn’t have changed anything.

This had way too much going on and it distracted from the main plot. Also, the ending was ridiculous. The only thing that saved it was the humor, but just barely.

This was a fun read, but just that. At least for me. I read the synopsis and I was so excited, it sounded like a romance I wanted to read. Nevertheless, it wasn't bad, I really enjoyed some parts and I was interested in main characters and their romance!
Recommended for those who enjoy women's fiction with romance.

I kind of found the main character unbearably annoying, I hate saying that about characters but that's how I feel. Since Emily Henry loved this book I was expecting to like it way more than I did. I laughed and I also cringed so I don't really know how to rate this book.

This was not for me. I didn't like the characters or the storyline. It took me two weeks to get through as an audiobook.

Cute concept, but execution. I could not stand the female lead. Her desire for “fate” to lead everything was just annoying.
