Bello per quanto riguarda i pg, mentre per quanto riguarda la trama sembra quasi che la Rowell non sapesse come risolvere alcuni subplot ( nello specifico quello della famiglia ritrovata di Simon, che mi è perso buttato un po' a caso lì alla fine).
3.5 stars ,, why were baz and simon turning into bella and edward -_-

I wish that this had more to it. So much happened that was so necessary after the first two books, but the biggest thing waited until the very very end so we never got time to see the character sit through it and handle it. Despite that, the conversations and interactions between characters in this novel mostly made me smile and definitely made me feel the feelings. That’s what I enjoyed most with this whole series. The dialogue was for the most part enjoyable and delightful. Another wonderful fantasy series complete!

i really think carry on should have been a standalone, the magic and world building just didn’t stand the test of a trilogy. this was enjoyable enough but wayyy too long. bonus points for agatha and her hot butch gf tho
About 98% as addictive as the first one. Stayed up until the middle of the night to finish it.
یه چیزی که راجع به قلم رینبو دوست دارم اینه که خیلی به شخصیتاش بها میده و واسشون وقت می‌ذاره. حرکاتشون و اثراتی که وقایع روشون گذاشتن خیلی طبیعین. تراما رو خیلی خوب به تصویر کشید و این به نظرم نکته خیلی پررنگیه. ولی خب مشکل داستان از اونجایی بود بعد کتاب اول انگار زور داستان و پلات کم شد. هرچند تلاش نویسنده برای بهتر کردنش به وضوح حس میشد و این شایسته تقدیره. کتاب دوم به نسبت سوم بهتر بود. انگار توی این یکی یهو یادش اومده که آره کتاب آخره باید داستان جمع بشه و کلی سوال بی جواب داریم. پس همه رو یه جوری میریزیم توی این.
و یه اصرار عجیبی به سر و سامون گرفتن و از سینگلی دراومدن شخصیتا بود که درک نمیکنم. میشد مثل نیونکست که به امون خدا رها شد شخصیتا رو هم ول میکرد، شاید درآینده دورتر یه یار و یاوری پیدا میکردن ما که نمیدونیم.
یهو یه جمع زیادی کرکتر جدید وارد داستان شدن، ماجرای والدین سایمون خیلی آبکی مشخص شد و خیلی چیزای دیگه
نمیخوام بگم که توقع داشتم داستان چطور پیش باید میرفت چون نویسنده به طور قطع از من بهتر میدونه، ولی ای کاش وقت بیشتری روی پلات و داستان میذاشت تا یه پایان خوب واسه مجموعه داشته باشه
ولی درکل بخوام بگم از خوندنش پشیمون نیستم (و آره خیلی کتابا بودن ک از خوندنشون پشیمون شدم) سایمن اسنو تبدیل شد به یکی از مجموعه هایی که به شدت حالمو خوب کرد و برای همیشه ازش ممنون خواهم بود :)

Cons of this book: It is NOT britpicked, at all, to an egregious degree (why are they walking a couple of blocks for the Tube? Along the sidewalk?). Everything of note takes place in a Costa, for some reason. The actual plot doesn't show up until half way through, with the first half focusing on Baz and Simon having all the conversations about their relationship that they should have had in Wayward Son. Other than Shepard sticking around, Wayward Son actually seems completely obsolete.

I loved this trilogy and the end was good and happy which is perfect to me. I love all the characters and I think Rainbow did a good job wrapping everything up! Reading this one makes me want to reread the first book! I forgot how much I loved this story and these characters!
Yay! I love this as a trilogy! A pretty satisfying conclusion as well (I hate when an author whiffs the ending of a series that is otherwise enjoyable). I will say, I did not super enjoy Penny's point of view most of the way through, although I did love her growth in the long run. I thought it was a strong way to pull all the threads together and it will definitely be a worthy reread. Still really digging the magic and I love that Simon and Baz have to work for it, have to figure out how to be real people together, not just chemistry and tension. This world is frustratingly intriguing! I want MORE explanation of all these things hinted at and teased at. Tons of romance but I could have used a little more plot and a little more diving into the world of magic. I do love the idea of there being more to magic than mages, I think that's worth exploring more. I really would love prequels to this book though!
