40% of this was fanservice. I liked it, beside everything around Agatha which is boring and forced, but the book wont stay with me. It is a published ok fanfic with amazing characters.
I will remember Baz and Simon, their monologues and relationship is really great but the rest will fade.

It was okay. The second book was so fun and action filled that this one felt a lot slower. I can understand why she wanted to focus more on the characters’ feelings but still… It felt lacking. There are a lot of unanswered questions so I’m expecting another book even if it’s not technically part of this trilogy.

So sad the trilogy is done! This one is much better than book 2 and I enjoyed the characters so much. Sad I won’t be reading more about them!!

3.5

I don't know what to do now that this series is over.

Simon, Baz, Penny, Shepherd... I'm going to miss their liveliness and how they managed to make an entire fantasy world seem to revolve around them.

This book really had it all. The magic and sparkles of a whip-smart fantasy novel with all of the soft and tender notes of heartfelt contemporary.

Carry on, Simon Snow. I'm going to miss your catastrophes.

pre-read review

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD

There's going to be a third Simon Snow novel?
