Very satisfying ending

It took me a second to get into this, because I was trying to remember what happened in the first two books. After I kind of just let it go I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the storyline and it made so much sense to go this way. I felt like the last book kind of went a whole different direction from the first book, but it's come full circle.

I liked how most things concluded and I loved Simon and Bas' relationship and their development. I some times don't enjoy gay romances as much as I can't always relate, but the way Rainbow Rowell writes about their connection and their intense feelings for each other the logistics didn't matter. It's all about the emotion and I was here for it.

I also loved the new characters and I think they just enhanced the gang really well.

I love this book so much

There was a sharp decline in the quality between this book and the previous two. Book one was an adventure story with a little romance thrown in. Book two was a buddy road trip with some romance thrown in. Book three was all romance, minimal plot. There were multiple chapters composed entirely of monologues about how the person adored their love interest. Like literally repeating, "I love him, I love him, I love him" over and over again for several lines. Was that really necessary?

This was necessary because....????
I love Baz and Simon, but this should have been just one book.
Repeat after me: CARRY ON IS A STAND ALONE

This was my favorite of the 3 stories. I wasn't the biggest fan of the first 2 stories and didn't understand the love of this series. BUT this book sold me on this series well on at least the last book of the series. It wrapped everything mostly up and the whole story was fun and exciting and told from everyone's POV. I was dragging my feet about reading this but it was available I just thought I'd get it over with but I really enjoyed this story. The 3rd book was the best in the series.

Plot or Character Driven: Character
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I loved this so much! No one is surprised. I love this world and these characters so much.

I just feel like there could definitely be a book four because there's still stuff we could unpack...yeah, Rainbow?

shaking my fist at rainbow and her penchant for loose threads

I missed the vibe of this trilogy. It wasn't perfect, but it was GOOD, and I loved it.
