This is my first Wilding Wells novel and I'm wondering why it took me so long to find her. I LOVED IT. Like seriously. I wasn't so sure at the start but I needed a little bit of raunchy fun and I wasn't disappointed. Not one bit!
You're going to want to add this to your TBR pile. And not only cause the cover is AMAZING. Wells is a talented writer, She really makes you fall in love with the characters and actually feel for them. The writing style really sucks you in and I'm definitely heading to one click a few more of her available books asap. From the moment I "met" Hunt and Happy I knew this was a duo I'd have to add to my favourite couples list. They were both so hilariously bleeping funny I actually had to put down my kindle a few times just to catch my breath again, I mean really, a gynacologist named Hunt Hardick... you can imagine! But at the same time it's heartbreaking and gut wrenchingly sad and beautiful. I'll admit I didn't make it through unscathed and without tears.

Yes I loved him he was perfect he was a kind, attentive, forgiving (sometimes a little too much), dirty talker, softie.

I just.... have no words. I adored every millisecond of this book! I've been waiting for this one for awhile, so I'm thankful that I was able to get an ARC in my paws. If I wasn't working or sleeping, I was devouring this book.
A. Wilding Wells knows how to write a quirky and colorful book of beauty while also incorporating a fair amount of angst and tragedy to build the characters. What I appreciate most from her is that she puts a spin on things by making the man the one who jumps into the relationship full-swing. Yes, they normally prowl around and get all alpha in their pursuits, but there's something incredibly romantic about her guys, and Doctor Hunt Hardick is no exception.
He calls her schmoop, needless to say, I can't even handle it.
Happy Go Lucky is not exactly happy-go-lucky. Her poor soul is lost and in need of repairs. Hunt has just had his heart broken, but remains the eternal optimist. He's strong and confident while she's like a deer in headlights, so their dynamic is quite a cat and mouse game... with TONS of tension.
I could not get enough of this sad but sweet story, or of Wells's characters! I'm sad to see this pair go, but I also anxiously anticipate what she'll give us next!

Hello Mr. Hunt Hardick you sexy beast. A. Wilding Wells you are an amazing storyteller. I don't know where you get these story from but dang woman they are amazing. I loved Happy, she is amazing so damaged but not to damaged she can't be put back together.
I have waited for this book, and wish it was made into a movie. But then again they never get it right. Hunt and Happy I feel were destined for each other. She is quirky, she doesn't want a career that you have to wear adult clothes. He is a Gyno/ob, he goes in head first and balls to the wall. BTW I really need to change to a female Gyno now.
Happy is way to hard on herself, and her damn plan oh my goodness I wanted to strangle her. She has an amazing heart but she is broken and doesn't trust easily. Hunt he is a little to forgiving for me, he never says goodbye and he loves a project.

Ho-Lee-Quirkfest, Batman!
This story was everything and then some. Of winged creatures & nesting grounds has totally chewed me up and spit me out, with a gentle hug and a happily ever after of course.
Happy. JESUS, Happy. Is probably the quirkiest character I have ever read and I am absolutely entranced by her. Someone who is so beautifully broken, who has so many flaws, but she accepts them in her own way. She has a life plan and she is laser-focused if not a little bit misguided at her current spot in her journey. For someone who has had so much devastating loss in her life, she's fantastic.
Hunt is such a zany and unique character. A hot doctor with an unusual (in a good way) personality, he is what dreams are made of. To me he is Happy's perfect other half. They fit together like a Nutella and peanut butter sandwich! Of course they had their differences, but opposites they were not! I know people say opposites attract, but I felt these characters were alike in so many ways that it worked. Hunt comes with a bit of baggage and his own heavy past, but watching these two navigate those things together was BEAUTIFUL.
A Wilding Wells, I don't personally know you, but your words are poetry. Every line of this story spoke to me and made me feel things that I didn't quite expect. I expected a taboo story about a hunky OB/GYNO and his escapades with his patient, but I should have known it would be so much more. When these characters were happy I felt happy, when they were sad I felt that too. When they were intimate I felt their love and connection. Watching these two humans heal each other was beyond, just beyond. Impeccable writing. I highlighted so much this story looks like a rainbow when I flip through my kindle app!
I felt this strong connection to Happy even though I don't word for word share her story, I think anyone can relate to having a past, scars, and flaws and how those things can mold and influence you. Even though I felt like their story ended well, I'd kill for more Happy. Her story does help. These words help.
Ok in closing, this was a beautiful slow burn romance that stemmed from a chance encounter. Like when two people are looking for someone else, but they end up with everything they weren't expecting, but is oh so perfect for them... that's this story. The naughty bits are hot, like get you hot and bothered hot. The connection between these characters is so romantic and sweet. The banter is so witty and fun between the love interests and all of their friends and family. There's angst, quite a bit to be honest, and yes it's over the top, but I enjoyed it. It's fiction and it worked with the eccentricity of the main MC's!

Happy Go Lucky will ruin you. She is different. She suffered a lot , in her past and in her present, but her strength was astonishing ao much that she didn't realize it herself. Happy made everything better without knowing.
I loved her personality and character. Maybe I disagreed with her list and ways, but she managed to overcome it.
I started this book with Happy and ended it with a different Happy yet somehow the same. It was exhilarting and beautiful.
“Love can last a lifetime if you want it to.”
Oh Hunt. Now thats a male character to crush on. He always wore his heart on his sleeve, I hated this about him. I hated how he hated goodbyes, how he hold on to the wrong people and how he couldn't move on. I thought that his love for Happy wasn't real. But he surprised me.
He fell quickly and deeply in love with Happy that he overwhelmed her.
Hunt pushed Happy. He always encouraged her and supported her. Yet he respected her and her decisions. He was just amazing ans not perfect , which I loved!
She’s twisting my insides into something I may never be able to undo. It isn’t a knot. It’s a map of them, endless miles of beautiful knots. Every one uniquely tied to her. Impossible puzzles I plan on solving.
