While I did enjoy the story and the characters, I've gotta be honest about a couple things.
1- This felt way too formal, kind of robotic. Like the use of contractions, for example, was very slim. Saying things like "I am feeling sad" instead of "I'm feeling sad". It doesn't seem like a big deal but really, it got very monotonous. Especially with a book this long. Which brings me to my next point...
2- This book really did not need to be this long. Even with the amount of plot points, this book could have been around 350-400 pages and still covered everything. Instead we got closer to 500 pages of what felt like filler. It honestly turned me off from reading the rest of the series when I looked ahead and saw all 7 books are just as long, if not longer. And lastly...
3- The diologue. Some of it was sweet and some of it was funny... but most of it? It was so cheesy. It felt like those after school specials or student films... just very cringe. Not to mention the use of an exclamation point on a bunch of it... things being said that didn't have a need for the excitement that an exclamation point implies. Again, very cheesy, very cringe.
3 stars because I did enjoy the over all story, who doesn't love a werewolf? And I'll probably still continue the series (even though the next book is over 600 pages!) regardless of it only being 3 stars. I just hope to books get better as the series progresses because y'all know I hate to leave a series unfinished.

Thoughts: good read!

great book, could have been half the size. it was so long and towards the end I had to start skimming

Lycans,wolfs and spicy romance !

5 stars !!

This book was something else ! I have read a few wolf books now and this blew it out the park !

The world building, the relationship building is amazing ! I love how you feel you’re within the group of friends and you are wanting to help with the issues they face. This book makes you feel all the feels. Isa’s writing it awesome. I love how she gets you so engrossed into the world it feels real !

I want to go find myself a big handsome Lycan just like Liam !

excellent

Character development was amazing!! The action was spurring! The heroine acceptance was honest and transparent. Best book I’ve read this year.
