Hard to rate this book but this was a reread because I watched the movie then had to remind myself that the book wasn’t actually that bad and they just completely botched the movie adaptation 💀

[reread from 29/11/2021 to 1/12/2021] — 3⭐️

i distinctively remember not enjoying this as much as i wanted to when i first read but it’s definitely not as horrid as i remember, like, it’s just absolutely average.
the actual problem lays in the fact that not only does this not have a plot for the first 300 pages, but the writing is pretty dull and kind of makes me cringe too.

Didn't get the hype. I love post-apocalypse/dystopian books, and I usually rate them higher than what's usually deserved. However, this book just wasn't all that great. YA book that doesn't reach across generations like the Hunger Games did.
