This book is the first book of M.C. Beaton. I would say that I did not hate it, I read it quite easily and quickly. It was a really light read, nevertheless I thought it was too short, and that the story, the inquiries and mystery are quite simple and even obvious.
In fact, I think that it was not really a mystery book, and at the same time it did not make me really laugh either.
Maybe I began with the wrong book. Again, it is not a bad book, I read it but, I was quite unsure about the story itself it was maybe a little too easy.

Good. But way too short. If you want to try Agatha then start with The Quiche of Death as, like all her novels, it's substantial yet a whizz through fun read.

Not very festive despite the title. It’s a very short story but spans from before Christmas until the summer after.
There’s no murder mystery. Agatha has a hunch she investigates.
There’s not much else to say really.
