I found this a little stale because I was frustrated by Miyo. I'm glad that the effects of her abuse are not just erased just because she has fallen in love and I'm glad that she has gotten to see her other side of the family but maybe it was the translation...things were not working for me here.

Enjoyed this very much! And I was able to read it much more comfortably than the first volume, which I read a couple of years ago.
It’s great to finally know about Miyo’s powers and the whole Usuba clan background. New characters and developments kept things interesting.
I think by the end of the volume Miyo grows a lot as a main heroine again, even after the wavering in the middle of the story. Which wavering only happens because this volume uses one of my least favourite tropes: the miscommunication/ misunderstanding one. Both Kiyoka and Miyo kept a lot to themselves and jumped to assumptions and conclusions only resulting in them both getting their feelings hurt and drifting apart.. I hope in the following volumes they learn to communicate better and convey their feelings to one another in a better way, which I think they have finally understood.
Hadzuki was definitely one of the highlight characters imo, I liked her a lot! Hoping to pick the next volume soon!
