I loved learning more about Carter and Evangeline and their crazy, hot, tumultuous relationship. And holy crap, I didn't see that end coming!!!!! Glad I'm able to jump right into the next one! Can't wait to see how that goes!!!!

Oh please. 140 pages and two weeks of a relationship does not a marriage proposal make.

I'm biased since I like Adriane's writing.
I'm so happy with the pace, even if a lot of the readers are rolling their eyes on this. Heck, a lot of other successful books are the same and I think when people are swept "into love", they handle it with this sort of pace.
I am so invested in Carter and Evangeline (Eva)! They have the usual up-down of all relationships and it gets to be a bit "overwhelming" at times but heck, I am all for sorting out their relationship.
There's the controlling and consuming side and there's the being in a relationship that I love...the balancing act of both of them is what makes the story work.
Love the cliffhanger ending but you do have to move to the next book!!!
