C'est le second roman d'Alice Oseman que je lis, et je pense qu'à chaque fois que je vais en lire un je vais avoir ce même sentiment de douceur
Je ne sais pas comment expliquer mais je vais quand même essayer ; c'est juste du miel, des petits bonbons pour l'esprit ses livres, définitivement des comforts books. Toute la diversité des personnages fait qu'on a l'impression qu'on rentre et découvre petit à petit une famille qui se forme et inclue le lecteur à l'intérieur. C'est vraiment une joie de lire ces histoires à chaque fois, ça me motive professionnellement et personnellement, même si mes projets n'aboutissent pas, ça rapporte toujours un petit truc en plus, là le sujet principal m'a touché et fait réfléchir à mon rapport à la romance et la sexualité, c'était intéressant, ça m'a nourri, fait grandir, changer, ça m'a donné envie d'avancer, merci pour cette histoire !

What a way to share the aro/ace life! Beautiful, sad, funny… albeit a bit long. Nonetheless a shapeshifting novel for our community.

this book is now very dear to me and it just gave me some information i didn’t know i needed and made me ask questions i didn’t even know i should ask... like georgia finds out all this stuff i already knew and suddenly she goes beyond ! very nice but also now i do get [too many thoughts, turns into chair] about it. but it’s fine it’s tHe PrOcEsS
also, there were two (?) things that i know there’s Discourse Close To Me about and it makes me #anx but yeah idk, i just know for sure i didn’t like one of them
in terms of writing, at first i wasn’t a big fan but then i either got used to it or it chilled out. either way, win-win

lovely book. read most of it in a cafe in shanghai with nat, super vibes and was in the mood as well which helped. i loved how messy the story was with all the characters, and this kind of “non-conventional” attitude towards life n love n friendship was super relatable for me and so that was nice. made me consider alot ab sexuality and friendships and stuff as well. overall yayay happy and some quite emotional moments too, will revisit in the future.
The characters just felt kiddish and unrealistic
i love this book. so much. its such an important book for everyone to read, and its filled with such lovable characters. alice oseman you are an amazing writer, and this story really needed to be told.
