This has to be my favourite Alice Oseman book I think, next to Heartstopper of course. I’m glad I chose to listen to the audiobook because the narrator was superb!!! The story flowed so well and I loved the thoughts in this. I loved how Georgia realised her sexuality and how natural it felt! And i loved the friendships in this!

I’ll admit to being unsure about whether or not Oseman was going to trivialize asexuality and aromanticism... boy was I wrong.

This book brims with honesty, thoughtful verisimilitude, and characters that totally captivated me.

This book made me feel seen in a way I cannot begin to express.

It has a diverse array of characters without feeling like Oseman is checking boxes. I want to be friends with Sunil and Georgia and Rooney and all the rest.

Oseman knows how to write this experience of finding out who you are without being trite or trivializing. It’s brave and the characters are messy and it is full of so much love.

PLEASE read this book. PLEASE.

i don't think it's possible i will ever relate to another main character more. even little things like not decorating her room.

please please please please read this if you're aroace like holy shit. i didn't know stories like this existed and now im gonna be grieving that there probably aren't really any more. even if there were there's no way ill relate as much as this.

many tears accompanied this read.  like aaaaa 😭😭😭😭😭 read it

if im being honest, this book scared me. i have been thinking about my relationship to sexuality and romance for years now and i love alice oseman, so when i heard she was writing a book about those topics i knew i wanted to read it but i was so scared of relating to it. i dont think that really happened, because, you know, everyone experiences these things differently and if i ever adopt any of these labels, i know my experience is nothing like the protagonist's, really. but i really liked this book. it explores themes we rarely see in books and its so well done and it made me root for friendships like never before. its a different kind of story and a different kind of happy ending and i loved it.

4.5 ⭐ tbh

This book has my heart! Fanfiction recognition? Check! Theater? CHECK! Asexual rep? Triple check!!! I'm convinced Alice Oseman can dive into my heart, see exactly what I need and hold it to the light. I need to reread this eventually so I can pick up on everything but I did really enjoy this and I loved the friendships, and how they meant just as much, if not more, as romance. I just adore Alice Oseman and will read anything she puts out.
