The only problem I had was Cole just standing there while Silver got beaten up?? like wtf...should have grovelled at her feet honestly for that alone!

Listen. I hated Silver Queens since Deviant King. But what do you know? She actually ended up as a favorite! She’s smart, caring, and loving. Turns out, the Queen B she shows off was all a facade to protect the people around her.
Just as I hated Silver, I’ve always been curious of Cole since the beginning, (still can’t believe he’s Ava’s Dad..) I’ve always gravitated towards the quiet and the broody type. Setting aside the bully aspect of the book, I love how he’s a nerd, always has a book in hand and reading, plus, he’s the Captain of the football team!

This book. The saying “the silent ones are always the freakiest” is really true CUZ COLE HOLY SHIT. I love silver I knew that there had to be a reason why she is the way she is. AND AGAIN THAT PLOT TWIST AT THE END?!?!? I was baffled I would’ve never expected that.
Just finished this book and I already miss them— all eight of them, so fucking much.

They are one of my favorite couples from this series, for sure they are on my top 3.
I loved the back stories for both of them, I love when authors share the history of the characters, we can understand them way more and we can sympathize with the much much more, that's the way us readers can fall involve with them and in this case Rina Kent delivered exactly what I as a reader was looking for, I would've loved for Silver to be a bit more in danger of what she actually was, maybe they could've taken longer to find where she was just so we can feel that tension and then the release to know she is alive.
Other than that like I said they are one of the favorite couples. Top 3 !
