I checked this out after watching the recent movie on a whim while at the theater and finding the premise interesting. This is definitely a strong start for a series with a unique set up, well defined main characters, and a world that is slowly being built as the story continues to keep readers intrigued and wanting more. Speaking of which, I can't wait to check out the next volume!

I love this series. The first volume does a really good job of introducing us to Loid, Anya and Yor and how the three of them are in a fake family situation. There are plenty of moments in this volume that had me laughing out of loud. This is such a great fun and lighthearted read.

All I can say is…ELEGANT
This volume was an absolute delight to read. I’ve watched season 1 of the anime (and am VERY excited for season 2), so I’ve seen the contents of this volume before, but it didn’t feel like I’d already seen/read it.
The characters are all 10/10. They’re all so sweet and lovable. Yor and Anya are best girls.

This book was like a breeze of freshness. With its funny, simple and captivating plot following the struggles of the bizarre Forger family, this book is an absolute page-turner. The characters are extremely entertaining and so are their interactions. Its a really quick read that gets you wishing to read more and more (and it's also a great book to get off of a bad reading slump). Would totally recommend!!!
