Stalking Around the Christmas Tree is the fourth mystery in the Christmas Tree Farm Mystery series. Holly White is the inn keeper at Reindeer Games Inn and with Christmas and her wedding fast approaching she already has a lot on her plate. When murder strikes and her fiancé, Evan the local police detective, is pulled into another case, Holly takes it upon herself to help him get to the bottom of it so nothing can interrupt their big day.

I love this series and am always excited to see a new mystery coming out! I really enjoyed this book and loved seeing the gang again. This series is full of fun characters, Christmas themed games and cheer and mysteries that are fun to get lost in. I didn’t want to put this book down and found myself guessing until the very end on who the killer was. I am so glad that this book included Holly and Evan’s big day and I can’t wait to see what comes next for the budding romances between some of the other characters. If you haven’t experienced this series yet, I definitely recommend picking it up! I can’t wait to see what will come next I’m this series and will be eagerly waiting for the next Christmas themed cozy featuring Holly!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book!

3.5 stars. This book had everything you want in a cozy Christmas murder mystery, but there was something about it that just didn't vibe for me. I don't know if it was how it was written, or the narrator trying too hard, or the fact that I didn't read the previous three, but I was annoyed constantly while listening to this book. That said, the plot was well laid out, there was the main murder and a side plot that was equally interesting, as well as the main character's wedding. Maybe what annoyed me was the constant laundry list of wedding activities and reindeer games, plus running the inn, plus selling jewelry, plus unnecessary descriptions of what the cat ate? I think it was all just too much. The main character literally would have had to be four people for the amount of stuff she did. And she talked about how she would never be able to get it all done, but THEN SHE NEVER DID ANY OF IT, she went and solved a murder after being told repeatedly not too. That said if you have audible plus books 1 and 2 of this series are included so I might check those out, and I recommend if you aren't familiar with this series to start from the beginning. It's not that I couldn't follow it, as I absolutely was never confused, but it would have helped me connect more to the town and characters and the level of reality suspension required to believe this all happened simultaneously and she was able to solve all the murders. A solid 3.5, stars from me. Thank you very much to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Reading about the latest cozy murder in Mistletoe, Maine has become a Christmas season tradition that I love. This book continues to bring the loving characters to life.

These books have been enjoyable, but you'd think Holly wouldn't go about sticking her nose in murders after the first or second time. It's sort of silly, but I kept coming back.

This book is really interesting I’m not sure if this is a series or of this is the first boom but I really enjoyed it and never read a book with a Christmas theme or that had a town that was all for Christmas like it was.
