Când am devenit oameni. Incredibila poveste a evoluției noastre de Michael Bright, cu ilustrații de Hannah Bailey și în traducerea lui Matei-Măceșaru-Szorenyi este un volum absolut superb despre istoria omului - evoluția acestuia, locurile unde s-au găsit urme ale oamenilor primitivi și a predecesorilor acestora, cât și paragrafe informative despre antropologie. Mi-a plăcut enorm acest volum, i l-am citit lui Bebuț și dacă momentan e absorbit doar de imagini, sunt sigură că în următorii ani va aprecia și informațiile relatate.

A beautifully illustrated and educational book about the history of human life, our ancient ancestors, and evolution.
It is a little complicated, and would probably be best for an older child, or could be broken down into sections in use as a teacher: into different time periods or sub species down the evolutionary line for example.

Read aloud with my kids as part of our prehistory study. This nonfiction picture book is in depth, well organized, and has really nice illustrations. It was the perfect spine to learn about the evolution of man.

It’s in our nature to want to know who we are and where we came from. When We Became Humans is a really great book all about us. Asking and answering questions about our beginnings, evolution and where we go from here. This book is absolutely filled with interesting information and colourful drawings.

This book does a good job presenting the evolution of mankind. Starting from the early beginning, even start with a brief intro that goes back before us, and then follow our path through time and evolution. Easy to understand for kid without letting it became easy or childish, this book provides good information and is well adapted for its public. Good job!
